The only way to get to Træna is by boat. The Trænafestival always book extra boats so you can make a reservation for a boat ticket and be sure to get here and back home again.
Ferry / boat
If you take the bus from Mo i Rana you are guaranteed a seat on the ferry from Stokkvågen. The ferry ride takes about 1,45 hour to Træna.

From Stokkvågen to Træna by ferry:
Every day except saturday and sunday: 09:15 and 17:45
Saturday and sunday: 17:45
From Sandnessjøen to Træna wednesday and fridays, only passengers without cars:
11:00 and 16:30. This boat also stops at Nesna, Stokkvågen, Onøy and arrive at Træna 13:30 and 19:00.
From Sandnessjøen monday, tuesday, thursday and saturday, only passengers without cars:
16:30. This boat also stops at Nesna, Stokkvågen, Onøy and arrive at Træna 19:00.
From Bodø all days (except sunday), only passengers without cars:
Departure from the express boat harbor by the bus station 16:00 boat transfer at Onøy. Arrival at Træna ca. 21:30.
The Lovund express:
If you’re going home from Trænafestivalen to Lovund, Selvær, Holmen, Sandøy or Sanna during the weekend, here’s the timetable.
The world’s most beautiful cruice can take you to your destination with correspondence to the world’s most beautiful festival.
Hurtigruta arrive in both Bodø, Ørnes, Nesna and Sandnessjøen where there is correspondence by boat which takes you to Træna.

From Oslo there are daily flights to Bodø and Trondheim with SAS or Norwegian. From Bodø or Trondheim you can fly to Sandnessjøen, Mo i Rana and Brønnøysund with Widerøe.
By train you can take Nordlandsbanen from Trondheim stop in Mo i Rana or Bodo where you continue by boat to Træna. From Mo i Rana, take the bus to Stokkvågen, where other driving by car or bus can take ferries and boats to Træna.
